A much needed stay at the Double Tree By Hilton Resort, Al Marjan Island & Spa
From the moment we stepped into the lobby of Double Tree by Hilton we were blown away by the beauty and décor. Keeping up with Dubai’s tradition the lobby of this hotel is grand and glittering with striking decor. The opulence and refinement projected by Hilton hotels is something we are profoundly in awe of, and pointless to say we still reminisce the splendor of the resort.
Dubai can sometimes be a bit too overwhelming and chaotic for us, especially when we’ve been tremendously busy over the week. In such circumstances, we got an opportunity to experience a far more tranquil, soothing and peaceful property in UAE. Many thanks to Double Tree by Hilton for inviting us for an unforgettable experience.
Upon our arrival the team warmly welcomed us with the signature chocolate chip cookie at the check in. Our lovely host ‘Kashneet’ escorted us to our room while giving a little tour of the property.
On a private beach located at the edge of Marjan Island lies a stunning property with beautiful architecture and landscaping like no other. Double tree by Hilton is not just renowned for its splendid location at Marjan Island and luxurious vibe it projects, but also for the unique restaurants it nestled. We can’t help but look forward to tastings at this hotel; right from the entrance to the view and serenity of the beach – it all takes our breath away.
Once we were done with a little tour of the resort, we headed to their Vespa & Brasserie Restaurant at the Double Tree for our Friday Brunch.

Apart from having a great location an outstanding resort also needs to have some other characteristics as well, to make it a top choice for its customers. For us, that would be service, design, its rating and most importantly the feedback about the place from its most recent users. With that being said we were staying at the 5 star property which is top rated and highly recommended.
Our check in was in one of their Exclusive Bay rooms which has all the comforts, amenities and the luxuries which you will require during your stay.
OUR BAY CLUB ROOM WITH PRIVATE BALCONY

DINNER AT MEZE
After a relaxing and rejuvenating time at the beach, we then headed for dinner to Meze – a fine dining Turkish restaurant for dinner.
The newly opened authentic Turkish and Lebanese restaurant will take you on a trip inspired by the beautiful colours and tastes of the orient’s spice markets. Enjoy great food in a stunning setting and spacious terrace, and its panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
LUNCH AT SANCHAYA
DoubleTree Marjan Island has recently introduced a new fine dining restaurant ‘Sanchaya’ that serves some exquisite Modern Asian Cuisine amidst Al Marjan Island.
Sanchaya offers a great indoor ambiance as well as a beautiful outdoor setting on a large terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of Arabian Gulf.
We savoured some traditional delicacies which are reimagined to surprise and intrigue the contemporary palate perfectly paired with the vibrant spices and textures. Must try their Schezuan Chilli Beef, Duck Curry, Roasted Duck salad, Soft Carb shells and oh so heavenly fried banana dessert 😍😍 Everything was so good! The presentations were right on point. Must visit this place for some amazing delicious options and thank us later!
