Ayam Elezz is a traditional authentic Lebanese restaurant with an ambiance that takes you back to the old era of Lebanon. Ayam Elezz is one of a kind, the place has a splendor traditional Lebanese dรฉcor, a picturesque and striking place to dine and relish in some luscious authentic cuisine. With antiquated decor and sentimental fragments from the golden days, the interiors are eccentric and flamboyant.
AMBIANCE |ย Wonderfully mismatched, it provides a warming, welcoming atmosphere.ย The place is a perfect balance of modish yet old fashioned. You will find all sorts of retro mementos from old age artifacts shown all over the place to the rustic & vibrant interior with poignant music playing nonstop in the background.
All the intricate details add up to bring the nostalgic feel of Lebanon. Even the floor tiles used were imported from the old houses Of Lebanon. The colorful furniture to lightning and chandeliers, the vintage wall paper to typewriter & radio transmitter, stacked old books and lanterns, the shelves filled up with so many pieces from the former; it will make you feel the culture in your soul.
FOOD |ย The Saturday Brunch features a traditional decadent spread, with care being given to each ingredient that speaks for itself. The super inviting spread includes a selection of cold & hot starters.ย The cold starter section includes Labneh, Makdous, Green kishik, Feta cheese with vegetables, Kashkaswan cheese, Hummus Ayam Elezz, Fattet Hummus, Cheese majdoli, Halloumi cheese, Mixed olives, Mixed pickles and Zaatar w zeit! Super healthy bites that helps you build your appetite. Best to eat them with their top notch fresh pita bread.
The buffet comprises of Foul medammes and Balila which are chickpeas based dishes and are served hot. Some of the hot starters include the kibbeh, sambousek and the cheese sticks. For drinks they had Lemonade, Peach Iced tea, and the Laban Ayran.
For the mains they had the traditional Lebanese dishes. My favorite was the Oriental chicken served with rice. This is an ultimate dish and is highly recommended. We literally went thrice to indulge in this palatable, decadent dish. Don’t forget to pour some soup over it. JUST DIVINE!!
Vegetarians are definitely going to be overwhelmed with joy as the brunch is sure to keep them happy with numerous options. They also have live stations – a salad station, an egg station, and a saj station too. Zeeshan is a Saj lover so he couldn’t get himself awayย from freshly made heavenly Saj breads and devoured many with different fillings.
A sweet that really caught our attention other than the Kunafa was the Raha Bel Biscuit. Raha is the turkish delight, and it is a delicious delicacy. They have tons of fresh fruits and dry fruits on the spread.
SERVICE | Record players, televisions and telephones from the era are dotted around the dining room and terrace, and with such friendly greetings from the staff, you canโt help but feel at home. The Executive chef heads out to the tables talking to the patrons and taking feedback that makes the restaurant stand out in terms of food quality. The staff is super friendly and courteous.
HIGHLIGHT |ย Overall the place has a very fun and colorful vibe to it, with the Arabic music playing in the background. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating; the veranda with wooden rooftop and walls stocked with plants makes you feel warm, cosy and homely. You get to enjoy the magnificent views of Jumeirah beach hotel and Burj Al Arab. Well, this restaurant took our heart with their perfect homely atmosphere and the palatable comfort food options.
VERDICT |ย They serve some authentic delectable & flavourful dishes. We were overwhelmed with the freshness & quality of food. With Impeccable service, reasonable prices, lovely ambiance and some stunning views overlooking Burj Al Arab. What’s not to love about?! Saturday Brunch is Priced at only AED 119 with unlimited juice. We highly recommend itโฃ
