The first 10K followers on our Instagram, the first time we introduced our Baby R on social media, our first staycation with Baby R. These moments are something that we’ll cherish forever, not just because of how unbelievably grateful we are for achieving them, but because these milestones are reassurances that we’re achieving our goals and still aiming to reach to the top.

Ever since we started our blog we wanted to write about our hotel experiences. So #TRAVELWITHDXBMUNCHER will be the gateway to our Hotel Reviews. We were certain that slowly but surely our time will come for our first hotel review, and many thanks to THE H HOTEL, that moment arrived sooner than we expected. So here you go with our first ever Luxury Hotel review – another one of our milestones achieved.

OUR WEEKEND AT H DUBAI

The hotel was beyond breathtaking, the decor and an ambiance that’s bound to leave you flabbergasted. From the minute we stepped into H Dubai, the vibe, the structure, the vibrancy of the lobby, everything just simply blew us away.

But it’s not just the opulence and beauty of the hotel that leaves a brilliant impression moments after you step in, it’s also the impeccable, friendly and positively professional service we received right from the moment we stepped foot into the hotel. There was not a minute that had gone by during our stay when we were left unaware or unsure of what do to next. Our itinerary was jam-packed with visits to H Dubai’s restaurants and fitness facilities and wander around the property.

Getting There | The H Dubai is not too far away from Dubai International Airport. It will take you good 15-minute drive and honestly, with the scenic views on the way, you’ll find yourself reaching the hotel in no time. You could use the public taxis that are lined up at the airport or coordinate with the concierge team to arrange for a pick and drop service to the hotel (this is the best and safest alternative). This elegant, modern hotel is a 13-minute walk from the Dubai World Trade Centre and 5 km from the Burj Khalifa skyscraper and observation deck.

The Vicinity | The H Dubai is located in Dubai and is at the perfect location to explore local artifacts, attractions and do some shopping. Souk Madinat Jumeirah and Mall of The Emirates are a 15-minute drive from The H Hotel.

Modern, Arabesque and chic – The luxury Diplomatic Suite consists of a spacious and expansive sitting room with study area and a king-size en-suite bedroom for 2 adults and one child. Comfortable, practical and replete with elegance – the décor is inspired by contemporary Arabia with plush furnishings and cool marble flooring, measures from 100 – 120 sq m / 1,076 – 1,292 sq ft and are ideal for entertaining friends or meeting with business associates. Stunning view by day or night of beautiful Sheikh Zayed Road. Imagine floor to ceiling glass windows and room decor that’s fit for a king. We had a sensational experience, and once we were done, we didn’t want to go back to reality.

THE HOLLYWOOD BRUNCH AT DELPHINE RESTAURANT & BAR

We started off with the glamorous 1920’s brunch with Gatsby style entertainment, a live singer and an unlimited selection of beverages, a hot and cold buffet, delicious a la carte classics and decadent inviting dessert station. Delphine Restaurant is located at the lobby of The H Hotel. This Restaurant was exclusive, urban, chic and had the most vivacious vibes, with a lovely gathering and delectable food options. It was indeed an unforgettable afternoon soiree!!

Just a fraction of our amazing Hollywood Brunch. This brunch is luxury at its best with a touch of class no less @thehdubai every Friday from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm.

There are pastries galore, freshly made popcorn and my personal favorite Cotton Candy station 💕 It was full of appetizing, palatable & luscious options to choose from. Truly a Blissful start to our lovely staycation❣️

DINNER AT ZAHIRA DXB

Our Dinner was booked at the ‘ZAHIRA’ at The H Dubai. A destination for Modern Middle Eastern Fine dining, the generous menu was curated by award-winning Chef Greg Malouf. Everything from the food, perfumed cocktails, through to the soundtrack and warm interiors aim to elevate the diners’ senses, creating a complete Art of Dining experience. The venue was breathtaking, with hues of dark wood and red and the variety of food served here is abundant.

Our Delectable Starters from THE ART OF MEZZA @zahiradxb – Malouf Basturma (AED 80) & Split Giant Prawns in green Chermoula🍤(AED 65). We relished some of the most unusual and delicious dishes we’re talking about our Signature mains from THE ART OF SHARING menu, Duck Bisteeya (AED 85) that was beyond exquisite and we also indulged in one of the most flavorful Roasted Sea Bass Fillet ‘tarator style’ (AED 195), and for dessert we had the ultimate Signature Knife and Fork Ice-cream with Chocolate from The Art of Sweet Design menu which was sinfully delicious.

Signature Duck Bisteeya – This Bisteeya is literally almost too beautiful to cut into. The duck, pastry, and cabbage come together for a wonderfully textural bite, with just the right amount of sweet and savory.
